Clinical Psychology — $300 per 50-minute session

A Medicare rebate may be available if you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) or another eligible referral.

You do not need a Mental Health Treatment Plan to see me privately. If you are not eligible for a Medicare rebate, the full consultation fee is $300.

Private Health Insurance

Some private health insurance policies provide rebates for psychology. The amount depends on your insurer, level of cover and remaining annual limit.

Please check directly with your health fund to confirm your eligibility and rebate.

Medicare and private health insurance rebates cannot generally be claimed for the same service.

Couples Counselling — $450 per 90-minute session

I recommend allowing 90 minutes for the initial couples session, as it gives us enough time to understand the relationship, what has brought you in and what you both want to work on.

Ongoing couples sessions can sometimes be conducted in 60 minutes — $300 per session, depending on what is appropriate for the work.

Medicare rebates generally do not apply to couples counselling.
